Instructions - Dr. Watson eCQM 1. Clinician uses Dr. Watson to select measure set & report period        a. Select Quality Submission destination (CMS, State Medicaid, or other)        b. Select EH or EP measure set        c. Select Report Period (annual/selectable quarter)   2. Clinician imports electronic records of Patient panel (remote or local import) 3. Example: Dr. Watson EP eCQM measure group selection screen.      <-- User selects EP eCQM measure group to research            Dr. Watson eCQM will list the measures for the group  (See table below  \/   )   4. Select measures within group.       "Select All" will highlight all measures within the group, 5. Dr. Watson eCQM will automatically search all uploaded patient records for the measure's parameters and tabulate them in a concise table (shown below    \/     ) 6. Details for each measure's report can be displayed on details screen, including details of measure definition's), denominator, numerator, exceptions, exclusions, outliers, etc.   7. To document your findings, Dr. Watson eCQM exports the details of your findings, including the patient panels for each category:

1. We provide system components to analyze standard electronic CMS reports, including CMS EH and EP formats, as well as custom report structures using eCQM IGs. 
    
2. Our review process is targeted to meet the stringent multi-tiered CMS report requirements, reducing rejected submissions.
    
3. We test and error report the precise XML structure and syntax required by CMS.  the data structure is implemented with CMS, HL7, ONC supplied schemas.

Our eCQM compilation is a three stage process.  This is to accommodate many different data formats found in the inbound EHR datastreams.

- MU2 compliant EHRs will only require our eCQM 3 compiler module

- Most EHR installations are not MU2 compliant, and will require our eCQM 1 compiler module

- Many EHR systems are unable to produce a XML structured medical record, Our eCQM 1 flat file generator will provide the necessary processing for eCQM submission generation.

Using this three stage system, eCQM reports can be compiled according to the capabilities of the respective EHR systems and merged into a common data stream.
